A Race to Identify Global Talents

Indywood is organizing an exclusive Short Film Festival for school students (up to class 12th) to identify tomorrow’s talents and give them a head start in the entertainment industry. It’s time to identify your talent and let the world see through your creativity.

RULES & Regulations

• Free registrations will be accepted until 30th April 2021

• Exclusively for students up to 12th standard students

• No more than two short films will be accepted per entrant.

• Films shot on Mobile will also be accepted

• Work in progress films will be accepted but final cut to be submitted on or before 01st June 2021

• Only Short Films produced & completed after 1st January 2019 are eligible for the festival.

• Registrations on behalf of schools will only be accepted

• All films submitted with the link of Vimeo/ WeTransfer/ G Drive/ MailBigFile must be downloadable or they will not be considered for selection and screening.

• Films must be 1-10 minutes long

• Film file formats accepted: .mov and .mp4

• Submissions must be an original film that does NOT contain copyrighted material.

• Do not submit films in 4K. Please submit your film in 1080 HD resolution. Any film files that are larger than 2GBs will not be accepted.

• Do not submit using a YouTube link as they cannot be downloaded. Any submissions with a YouTube link will not be considered for selection or screening.

• There is no Language barrier for the Film, but the subtitles must be necessary in English Language

• All the shorts films must be student-directed films.

• The film’s director(s) must have been in high school or younger while filming the project. Middle school students are eligible to submit.

• If the film's director(s) were high school seniors at the time of creation, but are now in college the film is eligible to be submitted.

• We are an international film festival and thus accept films from anywhere in the world as long as you were in high school or high school age when the film was made.

• Contestants can also submit the Short Film in the format of Documentary Film & Animation Film. It is up to the participant’s interest

• Must be suitable for publication and not contain obscene or indecent material.

• Must not contain pornographic material; may not contain defamatory statements about any person, company, organization, or entity.

• Must not invade privacy or other rights of any person, company, or entity.

• Each team must submit the details of all the team members while submitting the film (team members will be able to win credits awards)

• If necessary, Actors can be selected from different age group according to the script demands. But please note those actors wont be considered for any award category nominations mentioned already.

• Win Prizes in 15 categories

• To all the nominated films, we would provide an official selection certificate along with the ‘Official Selection’ laurel.

• We would list all the winning films, finalist films, and the nominated films along with the posters on our website and social media pages

Note:

• Any submission that does not meet these guidelines will NOT be considered for judging and will NOT be selected to screen at the School Short Film Festival.

• The date could be subject of any arbitrary change.
