Timeline & Registration Instructions - For Music, Dance & Acting Events

  1. Registered Cultural Schools (Art school/Music school/Film school/ Dance school/ Cultural Club etc.) students across UAE, and registered Academic Schools/ Colleges across India are only allowed to participate.
  2. A participant represents only 1 school.
  3. Declaration in this effect shall be signed along with the registration via respective Cultural Institution. Organizers may authorize one of the registered organizations to represent any Major Cities in UAE if no Cultural School is available for participation from the particular UAE Sector.
  4. Contestant Registrations open from July 10th to December 5th
  5. Video Submissions for the 1st Round to be made between July 20th to December 15th
  6. Online Voting/Streaming & Jury Judgment for the 1st Round along with submitted videos will be happening between 20th to 30th December 2021
  7. List of Grand Finalists will be published on 3rd January 2022
  8. Grand Finale of ITH 2021 will be happening on 20th & 21st January 2022

Rules & Regulations - Online Voting/Streaming Round for Music, Dance & Acting Events

  1. After Registrations via respective Cultural/Art Institute, each applicant should submit rough cut video content of his/her performance video.
  2. For Music & Dance Events, the video content should be submitted to the mail registration@indywoodtalenthunt.com . Contestant can use services like WeTransfer/Google Drive etc. to mail the content.
  3. Contestant videos will be uploaded via ITH YouTube platform by the Official team (Copyright consent to be submitted by contestants while Registrations)
  4. The organizers have the right to use the video content submitted by the contestants for promotion, advertising and screening in ITH YouTube channel & other ITH Social Media pages
  5. For all Music Events, Karaoke or any kind of orchestral track cannot be used. Violation of this rule will lead to disqualification.
  6. Performance Video to be shot in one single take & one single frame. Violation will lead to disqualification.
  7. Editing is strictly prohibited. If any editing activity is found out, contestant will be disqualified
  8. For Vocal Fame – Western Category, Duration – 2 to 5 mins. Variation from time limits will lead to disqualification
  9. For Vocal Fame – Western Category, Genre should strictly restrict to Western Style. Otherwise contestant will be disqualified. Western Styles include Western Pop, Hip-Hop, Country Music, Blues/Jazz, Opera
  10. For Vocal Fame – Western Category, there is no Language Barrier.
  11. For Vocal Fame – Indian Cinema, Duration – 2 to 5 mins. Variation from time limits will lead to disqualification
  12. For Vocal Fame – Indian Cinema, Genre should strictly restrict to Indian Cinematic Songs. Otherwise contestant will be disqualified. Any songs released under Indian Cinemas can be selected.
  13. For Vocal Fame – Indian Cinema, there is no Language Barrier.
  14. For Vocal Fame – Hip-Hop/ Rap, Duration – 2 to 5 mins. Variation from time limits will lead to disqualification
  15. For Vocal Fame – Hip-Hop/ Rap, Genre should strictly restrict to Hip-Hop/ Rap. Otherwise, contestant will be disqualified. Hip-Hop/ Raps include Alternative hip hop, Boom bap, Cloud rap, Conscious hip-hop, Crunk, Drill, Old school, Trap, Mumble rap, Freestyle rap etc. Otherwise contestant will be disqualified.
  16. For Vocal Fame – Hip-Hop/ Rap, there is no Language Barrier.
  17. For Game of Chords – Keys & Piano, Duration – 2 to 5 mins. Variation from time limits will lead to disqualification.
  18. For Game of Chords – Keys & Piano, Genre should strictly restrict to Musical Instruments - Keys/Piano. Otherwise contestant will be disqualified. Musical Instrument - Keys/Piano include Grand pianos, Upright pianos, Digital pianos, Accordion keyboard, Electric keyboard, Synthesizer keyboard, Organ and Harpsichord keyboard etc.
  19. For Game of Chords – Keys & Piano, there is no Language Barrier.
  20. For Game of Chords – String Instruments, Duration – 2 to 5 mins. Variation from time limits will lead to disqualification.
  21. For Game of Chords – String Instruments, Genre should strictly restrict to Musical Instrument Strings. Otherwise contestant will be disqualified. The Musical Instrument - Strings include Guitar, Electric Bass, Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass, Banjo, Mandolin, Ukulele, and Harp etc.
  22. For Game of Chords – String Instruments, there is no Language Barrier.
  23. For Game of Chords – Wind Instruments, Duration – 2 to 5 mins. Variation from time limits will lead to disqualification.
  24. For Game of Chords – Wind Instruments, Genre should strictly restrict to Musical Instrument -Wind. Otherwise contestant will be disqualified. Musical Instrument -Wind include Brass instruments such as, Horns, Trumpets, Trombones, Euphoniums, & Tubas and Woodwind instruments like Recorders, Flutes, Oboes, Clarinets, Saxophones, And Bassoons etc.
  25. For Game of Chords – Wind Instruments, there is no Language Barrier.
  26. For Game of Chords – Percussion Instruments, Duration – 2 to 5 mins. Variation from time limits will lead to disqualification.
  27. For Game of Chords – Percussion Instruments, Genre should strictly restrict to the Musical Instrument - Percussion. Otherwise contestant will be disqualified. The Musical Instrument – Any pitched percussion instruments & unpitched percussion instruments can be used in this category.
  28. For Game of Chords – Percussion Instruments, there is no Language Barrier.
  29. For Dance Off – Kathak, Duration –3 to10 mins. Variation from time limits will lead to disqualification.
  30. For Dance Off – Kathak, Genre should strictly restrict to Kathak - Indian Classical dance form. Otherwise contestant will be disqualified.
  31. For Dance Off – Bharatanatyam, Duration – 3 to 10 mins. Variation from time limits will lead to disqualification.
  32. For Dance Off – Bharatanatyam, Genre should strictly restrict to Bharatanatyam - the classical dance traditional Style. Otherwise contestant will be disqualified.
  33. For Dance Off – Folk Dance, Duration – 3 to 10 mins. Variation from time limits will lead to disqualification.
  34. For Dance Off – Folk Dance, Genre should strictly restrict to Folk Dance (Any forms). Otherwise contestant will be disqualified.
  35. For Dance Off – Indian Cinematic Style & Western, Duration – 2 to 5 mins. Variation from time limits will lead to disqualification.
  36. For Dance Off – Indian Cinematic Style & Western, Genre should strictly restrict to Indian Cinematic Style & Western. Otherwise contestant will be disqualified. Indian Cinematic Style & Western include Western Popular, Modern, Jazz, Belly-Dancing, Hip-Hop, Ballet, Break Dancing, Salsa, Tap Dancing, and Indian Cinematic Dance Forms.
  37. For Dance Off – Kuchipudi, Duration – 3 to 10 mins. Variation from time limits will lead to disqualification.
  38. For Dance Off – Kuchipudi, Genre should strictly restrict to Kuchipudi - the classical dance traditional Style. Otherwise contestant will be disqualified.
  39. For Monodrama – Acting Competition, Duration – 2 to 5 mins. Variation from time limits will lead to disqualification
  40. For Monodrama – Acting Competition, No Language Barrier , No extra/special costume required, No extra stage setting will be permitted, Offensive and obscenity gestures are not allowed, Do not use face masks.
  41. Candidates should strictly follow the age limits mentioned and should register in the respective age categories only.
  42. Candidates to make sure YouTube Copyright issues are not violated. ITH will not held responsible in case the submitted video in YouTube gets removed by YouTube.
  43. Applicants must agree to abide by all rules, as changed from time to time by the organizers.
  44. The Submitted video will be available for Online Voting & YouTube viewing process from ITH event Website (www.indywoodtalenthunt.com) from 20th to 30th December 2021.
  45. The applicant details & the video thumbnail will be visible in the ITH website followed by the voting button.
  46. Selection to Grand Finale depends on the Jury Marks for the Submitted Video (50 Marks), number of votes obtained via online voting (25 Marks), No: of YouTube Views obtained (25 Marks).
  47. Jury Judgment on submitted video will be based on Talent Factor.
  48. For Music Events, Editing in Vocals or Studio Recorded Video is prohibited. As mentioned earlier, Contestant should submit a Live Recording Video without Karaoke/track.
  49. The total list of Selected Participants for the Grand Finale of Vocal Fame – Indian Cinema will be published on 3rd January 2022.
  50. Any information about the identity of the voters will not be disclosed.
  51. Each person can only register and vote one time

  29. For Dance Off – Bharatanatyam, Evaluation will be based on Nritta (graceful body movements), Nritya (expressions and rhythmic postures), Natya (Dramatic Element), Angasuddhi(perfection of body movements), Mudras, Adavu, Music, Costume and Overall impression
  30. For Dance Off – Folk Dance, Any languages are applicable.
  31. For Dance Off – Folk Dance, Duration – 3 to 10 Mins
  32. For Dance Off – Folk Dance, Evaluation will be based on Physical Dance - Rhythm, Facial Expressions, Effective use of Props, Musicality, Choreography and Overall Impression
  33. For Dance Off – Indian Cinematic Style & Western, Duration – 3 to 5 Min
  34. For Dance Off – Indian Cinematic Style & Western, Evaluation will be based on Body Postures, Timing and Basic Rhythm, Body Line, Facial Expressions, Gestures and Steps, Creativity Musicality, Choreography and the Overall Impression.
  35. For Dance Off – Kuchipudi, Duration – 3 to 10 Mins
  36. For Dance Off – Kuchipudi, Evaluation will be based on Nritta (Graceful body movements), Nritya (Expressions, Footwork and rhythmic postures), Taal and Laya (Accuracy in rhythm with respect to speed and tempo), Costume, Music, Space usage and Over-all presentation.
  37. For Monodrama Acting Competition, Duration – 2 to 5 mins.
  38. For Monodrama Acting Competition, Evaluation will be based on Acting Skills, Script, Dialogue Delivery
  39. The final results will be published 22nd January 2022 via ITH Website - (www.indywoodtalenthunt.com) & ITH Social media platforms.
  40. ITH reserves the right to cancel this competition at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, and if circumstances arise outside of its control, or if the number of participants does not exceed the minimum number decided by ITH during finale.

  13. 50% score will be calculated by the Jury, based on Clarity of theme & style of drawing.

  15. Nature of the drawings should be strictly related to the subject given.

  2. Grade system will be applicable to find out Individual Champions in Sub Junior, Junior, Senior & Super Senior (Girls/Boys) Music/Dance/Fine Art/ Acting & Filmmaking/ General Events.
    1. 70% and above A Grade - 5 Points
    2. 55 – 70% B Grade - 3 Points
    3. 40 – 55% C Grade - 1 Point
    4. First Prize Grade points + 5 Points
    5. Second Prize Grade points + 3 Points
    6. Third Prize Grade points + 1 Point

  1. Registered Cultural Schools (Art school/Music school/Film school/ Dance school/ Cultural Club etc.) students across UAE, and registered Academic Schools/ Colleges across India are only allowed to participate.
  2. A participant represents only 1 school.
  3. Declaration in this effect shall be signed along with the registration via respective Cultural Institution. Organizers may authorize one of the registered organizations to represent any Major Cities in UAE if no Cultural School is available for participation from the particular UAE Sector.

  1. After Registrations via respective Cultural/Art Institute, each applicant should submit their video content of his/her Stand-Up Comedy performance.
  2. The video content should be submitted to the mail registration@indywoodtalenthunt.com . Contestant can use services like WeTransfer/Google Drive etc. to mail the content.
  3. Contestant videos will be uploaded via ITH YouTube platform by the Official team (Copyright consent to be submitted by contestants while Registrations)
  4. The organizers have the right to use the video content submitted by the contestants for promotion, advertising and screening in ITH YouTube channel & other ITH Social Media pages
  5. The event will be in Stand-Up Comedy format. Only single artist will be allowed.
  6. Performance Video to be shot in one single take & one single frame. Violation will lead to disqualification.
  7. Editing is strictly prohibited. If any editing activity is found out, contestant will be disqualified
  8. Duration – 2 to 10 mins. Variation from time limits will lead to disqualification
  9. Use of profane and abusive language is strictly prohibited and may result in disqualification.

  7. No more than two short films will be accepted per entrant.
  8. Films shot on Mobile will also be accepted
  9. Work in progress films will be accepted but final cut to be submitted on or before 15th December 2021.
  10. All films submitted with the link of Vimeo/ WeTransfer/ G Drive/ MailBigFile must be downloadable or they will not be considered for selection and screening.
  11. Films must be 1-15 minutes long
  12. Film file formats accepted: .mov and .mp4
  13. Submissions must be an original film that does NOT contain copyrighted material.
  14. Do not submit films in 4K. Please submit your film in 1080 HD resolution. Any film files that are larger than 2GBs will not be accepted.
  15. Do not submit using a YouTube link as they cannot be downloaded. Any submissions with a YouTube link will not be considered for selection or screening.
  16. There is no Language barrier for the Film, but the subtitles must be necessary in English Language
  17. All the shorts films must be student-directed films.
  18. The film’s director(s) must have been in College,high school or younger while filming the project. Middle school students are eligible to submit.
  19. Contestants can also submit the Short Film in the format of Documentary Film & Animation Film. It is up to the participant’s interest
  20. Must be suitable for publication and not contain obscene or indecent material.
  21. Must not contain pornographic material; may not contain defamatory statements about any person, company, organization, or entity.
  22. Must not invade privacy or other rights of any person, company, or entity.
  23. Each team must submit the details of all the team members while submitting the film (team members will be able to win credits awards)
  24. If necessary, Actors can be selected from different age group according to the script demands. But please note those actors won’t be considered for any award category nominations mentioned already.
